1. The service
EstateTO is a guide to estate and content sales in the Greater Toronto Area. This website points you to the app. The app shows sales on a map and in a list, a page for each sale, sales you save, and keyword alerts.
2. We are not the seller
We are not the seller, the organizer, or the auctioneer. We do not run bidding or sell the merchandise. The operator named on a listing runs that sale.
3. Listings
Listings are compiled from public pages of local sale operators. Dates, addresses, photos, and descriptions can be missing, late, or wrong. A sale can be cancelled after we show it. Check with the organizer before you travel.
4. Alerts
Keyword alerts and saved-sale notifications are a best effort. We do not promise that you will hear about every sale, or that a push notification will arrive.
5. Location
Location is optional. We use it to show nearby sales and to center a keyword alert. You can refuse the permission.
6. Your account
You are responsible for your account, including the email on it and Google or Apple sign-in when you use them. We may suspend access if you misuse the service.
7. Acceptable use
Use EstateTO for lawful purposes only. Do not disrupt the service, attempt to break in, or scrape EstateTO. Looking up a sale and opening the organizer's own site is fine.
8. The name and our compilation
The EstateTO name, the app, and our compilation belong to us. Listing text and photos stay with their sources. Do not copy the service or present our compilation as your own.
9. As is
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or complete, or that an item is still available.
10. Liability
To the extent Ontario law allows, we are not liable for damages from using the service or from a listing being wrong, including a wasted trip. Some rights cannot be waived.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
12. Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the current version.
