Privacy Policy

1. The service

EstateTO helps people in the Greater Toronto Area find estate and content sales. This website is the download page, plus this privacy policy and the terms. The iOS app is the map, the list of sales, sale details, saved sales, and keyword alerts.

2. Account

If you create an account, we store:

• Your email and name
• An optional profile image
• If you sign in with Google or Apple, the provider identifier those services give us, plus the email and name
• The time of your last login
• Your timezone, if the app sends it
• Whether you have finished onboarding

3. Location

If you allow it, the app uses your device location to show nearby sales. A keyword alert stores a keyword, a radius in kilometres, and the latitude and longitude the alert is centered on. If the app sends a location with your account, we store that last location and when it was updated, and we may store a sign-up location. You can refuse location permission. Nearby results and radius alerts need a location to work.

4. Saved sales

We store that your account saved a sale, so we can tell you if a later update fills in dates or a location, or marks the sale cancelled.

5. Notifications

If you allow notifications, we register the device with OneSignal and send a push when a saved sale changes or a keyword alert matches. We keep a notification log so the same alert is not sent twice.

6. Listings

Listings are gathered from public pages of local sale operators. A listing includes the title, organizer, times, address, description, and photo URLs. Those records describe sales, not you. We do not ask you to upload listings.

7. Maps

Maps and address geocoding use Mapbox when it is configured.

8. How we use information

We use this information to run the app, show sales, deliver the alerts you asked for, answer support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information.

9. Service providers

We share information with providers that help us run the service:

• Apple and Google, for sign-in
• OneSignal, for push notifications
• Mapbox, for maps and geocoding
• The infrastructure that hosts the service

We also share information when the law requires it.

10. How long we keep it

We keep account information while the account is active and as needed to provide alerts. Email support@estateto.com to ask for access, correction, or deletion. You can turn location and notifications off in your device settings. Deleting an alert or unsaving a sale removes that record.

11. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13.
